A good read, great art, bit costly
This is art, beauty, poetic, spirituality, mythology, philosophy, simplicity, all blended into one.
There's a lot of depth in each and every line, and The illustrations takes you to a whole new world.Book Quality is A1This book is for people who knows about what awareness is, then only you can deeply connect with each stories.Tip : Take help of gpt and google to go indepth in each character and story
Very good one from Abhishek Singh, and similar in most ways to Purnam- very surreal and dream like, just like the Shiva mythologies it is based upon! I resonated with the author- in his sketches, and in his prose. The binding is great. My grouses:1. Publisher (wonder house) this one has a print quality that is clearly not as good as the Purnam copy I received. Was that one great, or this one bad?2. Seller (Cocoblu): why did you sell me a used copy?!! If used, at least ensure that some pages are not as crumpled (none were torn, thank you!) In your defence, this is the first time in multiple orders, so let's agree to dismiss this as a one off.
Books like these can't quite be reviewed. They capture something deep and profound about India's heritage and the eternal nature of the Hindu religion. So let me just state that I loved everything the artist Abhishek Singh and his team accomplished in these books. I never quite expected the artwork to be so immersive, detailed, and beautiful. It truly gave off epic vibes. The stories contained between the covers brought India's rich and ancient beliefs to life in more ways than one. I wouldn't call the books religious, per se, but they did possess an incredible weight of spirituality and symbolism just waiting to be explored, or rather re-explored.
Its difficult to say whats more ethereal - Abhishek's art or his storytelling.. or the simplicity in his words that makes the most complicated feelings comprehendible. His mastery over these freeflowing artscapes and his enthralling stories that have a fluid myriad of worlds and beings mystical yet relatable, just add more mystery to the myths Abhi is creating in this book. Namah also consists of some of my most favorite unpublished and unreleased rare art of Abhishek Singh. These pieces created over the last ten fifteen years are presented for the first time for his fans. Jumping straight out of his numerous sketchbooks, canvases, digital files - these masterpieces are worth cherishing. The book is as poetic and Sufiana as Abhishek Singh, experience the magic and savour the amazing art of Abhishek Singh.
Readers 14 and up are the clearest fit. The English text is marked for grade levels 10-12, so the themes and presentation are better matched to teens and older readers than young children.
Yes, the artwork is a major reason people pick up the book. Reviewers repeatedly mention immersive, detailed Shiva imagery and say the visual style carries much of the book's emotional and mythic impact.
Many readers say the language feels simple enough to absorb while still carrying depth. One review specifically praises how the storytelling makes complicated feelings and spiritual ideas easier to connect with.
Most comments on the physical build are positive, especially around the binding. A few readers still mention that print quality can feel less consistent than expected, so feedback is strong overall but not completely uniform.
Expect a concise visual read at 120 pages. That length suits readers who want an illustrated mythology book they can browse slowly and revisit, rather than a very long volume.
Yes, the hardcover has a larger page size at 28.5 x 22.5 x 1.5 cm. That format gives the illustrations more space and supports the visual, art-led style buyers talk about.
