Best saw for Carpentry/DIY projects

I have used this saw for about 3 years and I am telling you this is the best saw ever for carpenters who wants perfect cut.

Handy tool, but plastic material

The saw is very good, no words on that. But, I am little disappointed with the jig / mitre box. The jig is made up of plastic and hollow. Do not know how long it can withstand the handling. Wish the material would have been solid filled instead of hollow design. The plastic body will get sawed with prolong use and some of the edges may even break with little rough handling. Black Decker, we expected a solid jig. May be increase the price and provide a metal casting body or solid ABS body

not sturdy enough for everyday use.

Using this product for the last year or so. It looks good but leaves several things to be desired.First, the plastic is quite flimsy and gives way when pressure is applied. the edge of the saw eats into the vertical lines of the plastic, making the gap wider with each cut. so ultimately the precision needed vanishes from the cuts. There is no space to clamp this device to the bench, so cutting longer pieces becomes impossible.The saw is quite good and cuts well even after prolonged use, which is what prompted me to give a three-star rating. otherwise, the device itself is only two stars.

Useless mitre saw

This is the second most useless item I've purchased on Amazon.in, just as well it is unavailable as I write this. This review is also after several months after purchase.The plasticky, ugly-orange support does not guide the saw well, besides begin impossible to clamp on to the table (though it is possible to screw it down with provided holes). It is also impossible to clamp the workpiece because of the draft angle on the vertical (support) sections.The included saw just has too much play in the slots, and does not inspire any confidence. The saw tooth-pitch is too coarse. Ultimately, you end-up with a cut that is near - but NEVER - the desired angle (90 or 45 degrees, also 45 degree compound angle). The saw, besides begin too coarse, does not cut at all! Don't even think of this if you are building any kind of furniture. Huts, maybe.I've thrown mine away (saw as well). It is easier and less frustrating to make a mitre box of my own that works reliably. What a waste!
