What buyers say

Look here for an informative and readable account rather than a dense academic study. Most buyer comments emphasize that the biography is engaging, well narrated, and useful for understanding why Sam Manekshaw remains such a widely discussed Indian military figure.

A few reviews also hint that the book is more admiring than critical, so readers looking for a sharply revisionist take may want that context. For many buyers, though, the clear storytelling is exactly what makes the book easy to stay with.
