Enjoyable Indian Game, more complex than Chess!
Chathuranga has a more complex set of rules than the more popular Chess. It has optional rules that may be followed. The game is more interesting than Chess, since the attack can from the front, back and even the flank.Improvements needed:Firstly, the King should have a crown and not a cross on the head like the European design which is stolen from Bharat (India).Secondly, instead of black pieces, make it blue or some other colour, since the board is B&W and this is a colourful game. Other colours (Red, Green, Yellow are OK).Thirdly, the dice has 1,3,4,6 on a flat rolled solid rectangular model. Better to have a cubic dice with 0,1,2,4,5,6 on it. With two dies, we can have all numbers upto 12, thus enabling more options and rules.Lastly, the size of the rule sheet should be matched with half-size of the board, as otherwise, the sheet gets crumpled at one of the edges.Overall, a very very good product.
