HOW DO DIFFERENT HAIR COLORS SHOW UP ON DIFFERENT HAIR BASES Platinum Hair Base: All colors will show up on this hair base. Blonde Hair Base: All colors will show up on this base but for cool colors like blue, violet, etc. your base has to be light blonde. Brown Hair Base: Only Warm colors like red, pink, purple, etc. will show up on this base. How long do the colors stay? Semi-Permanent Hair colors stay for 8-10 washes and fades a little with every wash. Can I color on black hair/Do I need to bleach? You need to have pre-lightened or bleached hair to achieve the best results of Semi-Permanent Hair Colors. Can I apply on Grey Hair? Semi-permanent colors cannot be used for root ups as fresh hair are not porous enough for the color to deposit on it. The color will slip off from the roots when applied. Can I re-use the color once the jar is opened? Once opened, we recommend using the color in one sitting.
